Updating Java for Kronos 6.0
Solution:

The upgrade to Kronos 6.0 requires a Java update.  Use the steps below to update Java.

Updating Java

To update Java in Internet Explorer, or if you get a Java disabled error message when you access Kronos, do the following:

  1. Log in to Kronos from https://mymiami.miamioh.edu.

  2. In the Miami Web Page Index, click the Time Entry - Full link to go to the Kronos page. Enter your UniqueID and MUnet password.

  3. If the required version of Java is not loaded, the following screen will appear

  4. Click the yellow bar just above the Kronos logo. A small menu will appear.

  5. Choose Run Add-on.

  6. At the security warning pop-up box 'Do you want to run this ActiveX control?' click Run.

You should now be able to log in to Kronos.
